• I run a private practice in Berkeley, CA specializing in complex internal medicine and dermatological disorders. My practice is based in Traditional Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion based on the work of Ikeda Masakazu and utilizes Classical Herbalism and integrative lab testing to further patient progress. I am a member of the International TCM Dermatology Association founded by Dr. Mazin Al-Khafaji, the go-to expert for herbal medicine approach to dermatological, allergic, and autoimmune diseases. I am also a lecturer at the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College at Berkeley and the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences in Oakland, teaching classes on Japanese acupuncture and integrative clinical lab testing.

My practice has a special focus in autoimmune conditions, particularly ones that affect the skin, digestion, joints, and thyroid. My doctoral work focused on approaching complex, chronic inflammatory diseases through the historical lens of "yin fire" and integrating this theory with conventional lab testing to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and progress management of these conditions. I integrate learnings from this original research into my patient care.
