Every time you go to your doctor they tell you this is your new normal and that you're going to have to just make do - which leaves you feeling frustrated and defeated. You read article on top of article about your condition, each one trying to sell you a "silver bullet" that ultimately falls short. You want to get better and are willing to put in the work, but you just don't know where to start.

    Through a 12-week guided program I support you through the Four Pillars of Autoimmune Resilience, a behavior-change coaching program that gives you a sense of control and empowerment over your body and your fate.   • What is Health Coaching?

    For many of us there is a gap between knowing what to do to cultivate healthy habits and actually doing it. Health coaching bridges that gap. It is not about telling you what to do - it is about educating and supporting you as you integrate positive behaviors into your daily life and holding you accountable to maintain healthy habits. In Autoimmune Resilience Health Coaching I use Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Biomedicine, and Functional Medicine to help my clients understand why they are making the changes they are while empowering them to use their wisdom and will-power to implement healthier, sustainable habits.

    Food

    This wisdom from the founder of Western medicine reflects the notion that what we eat directly relates to how we feel. In this program we focus on the science behind anti-inflammatory nutrition, how to identify dietary triggers, strategies for incremental diet adaptations, and healing our relationship with the food we eat.

    Movement

    Moving the body is crucial to the circulation of our lymphatic system, which is essential to remove cellular toxins and buildup. In this program we review the data behind effective vs ineffective movement and exercise plus ways to incorporate both natural movement and intentional movement sustainably into our daily lives.

    Rest

    It is easy to forget the importance of rest when we're going about our daily lives while simultaneously coping with chronic disease. In this program we review the science of sleep and rest, strategies for incorporating active pauses throughout the day, and identifying factors that contribute our our daily unrest.

    Joy

    For most of us with a chronic disease, stress always either triggers a flare or makes a current one worse. The antidote to stress isn't rest but rather joy. In this program we focus on understanding the nature of joy, how it affects our bodies, and what we can do to harness its effect to heal from and prevent future flares.
